Stevenson vs Zepeda: What has been said?

After claims from Zepeda’s promoter that Stevenson has been ducking this fight for years, the American has flipped the script.

He claims he has been chasing the Mexican for three years.

He said: “I been calling this dude out for three years.

“I heard Oscar say that they been trying to get this fight for three years, but they’re lying. They had an opportunity to fight me before.

“They turned it down. It was all Oscar, so come Saturday night I’m coming here to beat his ass. He gonna come, he gonna be tough, strong, but I’m coming to whup his ass. I stand by that. I’m f****** him up.”

But Zepeda is feeling confident.

“Shakur’s gonna bring his style that is very elusive.

“And we’ve had a fight plan that prepares me to be able to neutralise that. I think we’ve done a great job and it’s gonna be a great fight.”
