Dungeon Grid Steam Review – The Game Slush Pile

Dungeon Grid hasn’t come out yet on steam, but there’s no excuse for the shape it is in. Imagine a game with no music or sound effects, no settings, a useless tutorial, horrible controls and just all around broken. The game is similar to auto-battlers, except you have to select a particular weapon to use it, and it has a health bar. You also have a health bar, but it doesn’t seem you can die.. ok you can, but it takes a really long time. If you defeat all the enemies, you can buy new weapons at the shop in-between. You control with WASD keys, and select the individual parts with your mouse… not fun. Oh yeah, and if you destroy all your weapons in a level, you are dead because you can only buy between levels.

Dungeon Grid in explicably crashed all the time on Steam Deck, and on my PC. As I also said, there is no sound at all, and no settings in the settings menu. The tutorial is this:

English is not the developer’s first language despite being named Connor Snow

As you can see, it tells you what to do, but explains nothing. Like how do I get good? I don’t think there is such a thing with this game. Anyways, Dungeon Grid is about as good as Null Gravity Labyrinth and that’s horrifying for a game on keymailer. This is a barely functional piece of crap and I wish it hadn’t promised to review it, otherwise I wouldn’t have, because it sucks. This gets a Garbage Verdict and 1 score. I’m not even gonna bother getting 300 words for SEO purposes because I really do not care. I want to get the horror over with and move on.

Overall: Dungeon Grid is a piece of garbage that barely works and is not fun at all. Stay, far, far away from this.

Verdict: Garbage

Score: 1
