Once Human Joins Gamescom 2025 with New Stellar Resonance Update, Launching August 28

On August 21, NetEase Games has announced that Once Human will make a major appearance at Gamescom 2025. Attendees have a chance to explore its surreal world in person. Alongside the immersive booth experience, the game also debuted details regarding its next big content drop, the Stellar Resonance update that is arriving August 28, 2025.

From August 21-24, fans can visit the booth of Once Human at the Cologne Fair, Hall 9, Booth A.040 to experience the game first-hand.

The booth has been designed around the game’s in-world Dreamveil event, transporting attendees into a mysterious, dreamlike environment filled with visual curiosities. The captivating setup also doubles as a photo-friendly backdrop, perfect for everybody’s social media moments.

Attendees are able to try out exclusive gameplay zones that showcase Once Human’s open-world survival mechanics, while also partaking in special giveaway events. Visitors will have a chance to walk away with exclusive Once Human merchandise, available only in Gamescom 2025.

New Update: Stellar Resonance Launching August 28

Beyond the Gamescom booth presence, Once Human has revealed its latest content update: Stellar Resonance that launches worldwide on August 28, 2025.

Set within the ongoing Visional Wheel: Starfall Inversion event, this update introduces new gameplay twists that are inspired by cosmic phenomena. With a weakened gravity caused by a shattered star, players can perform massive leaps and carry heavier gear than usual.

The Stellar Resonance update expands upon the concept by bringing in Gravity Integrators, devices capable of giving access to new areas and unique combat encounters. Players will face daunting foes, protect their integrators, and claim special rewards for their victories.
